HeartCARE Center National Distinction of Excellence

American College of Cardiology Heart Failure Accreditation

Hospitals receiving Heart Failure Accreditation from the ACC must take part in a multi-faceted clinical process that involves: completing a gap analysis; examining variances of care, developing an action plan; a rigorous onsite review; and monitoring for sustained success. Improved methods and strategies of caring for patients include streamlining processes, implementing of guidelines and standards, and adopting best practices in the precise care of heart failure patients. Facilities that achieve accreditation meet or exceed an array of stringent criteria and have organized a team of doctors, nurses, clinicians, and other administrative staff that earnestly support the efforts leading to better patient education, improved patient outcomes, and more effective and efficient disease control.


American College of Cardiology Electrophysiology Accreditation

Hospitals receiving Electrophysiology Accreditation from the ACC must take part in a multi-faceted clinical process that involves: completing a gap analysis; examining variances of care; developing an action plan; a rigorous onsite review; and monitoring for sustained success. Improved methods and strategies of caring for patients include streamlining processes, implementing guidelines and standards, and adopting best practices in the precise care of EP lab patients. Facilities that achieve accreditation meet or exceed an array of stringent criteria and have organized a team of doctors, nurses, clinicians, and other administrative staff that earnestly support the efforts leading to better patient education, improved patient outcomes, and more effective and efficient disease control.

Hospitals receiving Electrophysiology Accreditation from the ACC must take part in a multi-faceted clinical process that involves: completing a gap analysis; examining variances of care; developing an action plan; a rigorous onsite review; and monitoring for sustained success. American College of Cardiology Atrial Fibrillation Accreditation

Hospitals that employ an evidence-based, protocol-driven and systematic approach to managing AFib have been able to reduce time to treatment, better identify and predict high-risk patients, and limit the length-of-stay in the emergency department and the hospital.

Hospitals receiving Atrial Fibrillation Accreditation from the ACC must take part in a multi-faceted clinical process that involves: completing a gap analysis; examining variances of care; developing an action plan; a rigorous onsite review; and monitoring for sustained success. Improved methods and strategies of caring for patients include streamlining processes, implementing guidelines and standards, and adopting best practices in the precise care of atrial fibrillation patients. Facilities that achieve accreditation meet or exceed an array of stringent criteria and have organized a team of doctors, nurses, clinicians, and other administrative staff that earnestly support the efforts leading to better patient education, improved patient outcomes, and more effective and efficient disease control.


Center of Excellence in Robotic Surgery by the Surgical Review Corporation (SRC)

Status as an accredited Center of Excellence means that Parkview has met nationally recognized standards, and healthcare organizations and surgeons seeking accreditation by SRC undergo an extensive self-assessment and on-site inspection. The inspection is consultative and educational, presenting best practices to help an organization or surgeon improve care and services.
