The Parkview Health Institutional Review Board (IRB) was established in the late 1970s. Knowledgeable and diverse members of the IRB represent the scientific, medical, business, religious and other sectors of the northeast Indiana community.
Assurances
Parkview Health holds a Federal-wide Assurance (FWA), an agreement with DHHS Office of Human Research Protections (OHRP) for the protection of humans participating in research studies. This assures that all activities related to human-subject research will be guided by the ethical principles in the Belmont Report. The IRB is also registered with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS).
