The past few months have introduced us to new challenges and new procedures. It has changed the way we do our jobs and deliver care. It has transformed the manner in which we communicate and collaborate with each other, and our patients. Through all of the ups and downs, it has been the dedication and adaptability of our tremendous teams that have enabled us to continue serving our communities. It’s the world class teamwork happening on the frontlines that’s carrying us through these difficult days.
We wanted a closer look at what a “typical” day (or night) is like for these frontline co-workers in the fight against COVID-19. We asked team members working in the Parkview Regional Medical Center Emergency Room to take us inside to observe the people and procedures involved in delivering care using safe, smart strategies.
They gathered footage over the past several weeks and provided a thorough glimpse into the thoughts and techniques of those treating others during a global pandemic. Thank you, to all of the team members working in our Emergency Departments, for serving our patients in their moments of need and for protecting them and each other.
