Last Modified: May 12, 2021

People of Parkview

This year, we celebrate National Nurses Week May 6-12. To mark the occasion, we brought these frontline caregivers together in groups of their peers to chat about the unique challenges and rewards of their profession, and how the last year has impacted their lives, both personally and at work.

Representing the Intensive Care Units of the hospitals they serve, Kathy Miller, RN, nursing services manager, Medical ICU, Parkview Regional Medical Center, Kyan DiVita, RN, Medical ICU, Parkview Regional Medical Center, and Kristy Jackson, RN, ICU, Parkview Hospital Randallia, talk about fighting for their patients, finding confidence in critical situations and how veteran team members can make the best teachers.
