What made you want to become a doctor?
It was a little bit of everything. I’d volunteered at an eye surgery camp in India as a high school student.
Is there a moment or exchange with a patient that significantly impacted your life?
Many! Almost every patient has something to teach me.
What is the most important piece of advice you can give your patients?
To treat their body “as a temple” and to treat their health as an important chore rather than a trivial one.
What is your greatest passion outside of work?
My family
What’s something people would be surprised to know about you?
I was almost an engineer and not a physician. I was most interested in breaking and fixing things as a child.
What would we find at the top of your bucket list?
Climbing Mount Kilimanjaro
Special thanks to the Three Rivers Table Tennis Center.
