Did you know there are places in the world called blue zones where people naturally live long, happy, healthy lives? Researchers have discovered that in blue zones, genetics is only responsible for about 20% of how long you live, which means other factors are behind 80% of your longevity. Join Rachel Reiter, RDN, LD, community outreach dietitian, Parkview Health, for an interesting nutritional series on the blue zones. This month, she will cover the blue zones and Loma Linda, California while taking a deeper dive into the culture and the nine powerful habits for a life of longevity.
