Plan a successful summer garden for any space, budget, and time commitment! Terri Theisen, agriculture & food systems consultant, leads this hands-on class for beginner and intermediate gardeners. Assess your growing space, understand basic soil health, and choose vegetables and herbs that you can use throughout the growing season.

Cooking Demonstration: Heart Health

Did you know that February is American Heart month? Making healthy eating practices a consistent part of your lifestyle can help prevent heart disease and stroke. Crystal Ruisard, MHS, RDN, LD, community outreach dietitian, Parkview Center for Healthy Living, will demonstrate how to enhance the nutritional value of your meals to support your heart health. A minimum of 10 participants is needed for this class, with a maximum of 20 spots available.
