Postpartum Support: A Better Tomorrow via Microsoft Teams

If you are experiencing postpartum depression, anxiety during pregnancy or depression in general, rest easy knowing support is here. Sarah Wolfe, BSN, RN, IBCLC, FCN, CPST, Parkview Whitley Hospital, and Alainna Martin, BSN, RN, Parkview Whitley Hospital, are trained by Postpartum Support International to help you get back to feeling like yourself again. Postpartum depression can last up to a year after the arrival or loss of your baby. Please know you are not alone, and you are not to blame. A Teams link will be sent to your email once you have registered.

Mom's Group

Mom’s Group is a support group where moms can go to have their baby weighed, have questions answered by a Parkview lactation consultant and RN, and interact with other moms. Mom’s Group also features crafts for moms to do with their children.

Basic & Beyond Parenting Class

Sometimes the anxiety of caring for your newborn can be overwhelming. The birth planners from our Family Birthing Center at Parkview Whitley Hospital, can help you feel more confident with basic parenting skills and more. This course will help mothers-to-be and their partners explore the physical, emotional and social aspects of childbirth.

Breastfeeding Support Group - Parkview Regional Medical Center (Tuesdays)

This group meets every Tuesday evening (7-8 pm) in the Family Birthing Center conference room, and Friday morning (9-10 am) at Entrance 4 in the third-floor conference room. Excluding holidays.

This is a drop-in group, no appointment needed (Mom and baby preferred).   Lactation consultants are available to help with breast feeding needs, weight-based feeding assessment and pumping concerns.
