What do you give a Guardian Angel?

Generosity Heals

Encountering an extraordinary physician or caregiver can mean the difference between surviving and thriving. It’s truly life changing for those in need of medical support. But how do we thank those who heal our bodies, as well as our hearts and minds?

Doctor’s Day is your opportunity to express your gratitude for the skill, professionalism, comfort and compassion that left a lasting impression. Every year, on March 30, we set aside time to reflect, acknowledge and thank those physicians who exceed our expectations by caring for us, our loved ones and our community.

There are many options for you to choose from if you know a Parkview physician who has earned your gratitude. You can …

  • Send a personal note or email
  • Deliver a card or send red carnations to their office
  • Honor the physician as a Guardian Angel

The Guardian Angel program through the Parkview Foundations gives you the opportunity year-round to publicly thank your doctor while also supporting the idea that generosity heals at Parkview. Simply submit your physician’s name, any comments you would like to share with him or her, and a gift of any amount.

Physicians who are honored will be recognized with a distinctive, custom-crafted Guardian Angel lapel pin.  We will also share any comments of appreciation that you include with your gift. The amount of your gift is never mentioned; that’s confidential.

When you honor your physician as a Guardian Angel, your generosity not only serves to recognize a deserving medical professional, it also supports new equipment, technology, and training, as well as assistance for low-income patients.  All of these things are important to providing excellent care to every person, every day.
