HR Van

It takes great people to provide exceptional service and care to the families in our area, and at Parkview Health, we are constantly recruiting to fill open positions and maintain this standard. In an effort to expand their reach for this type of talent, our Human Resources team recently introduced a very special van. Wrapped in our signature green, the vehicle will allow our recruitment team to visit different locations and connect with the best and brightest candidates, both near and a bit further. We asked Jeff Rice, manager, Talent Acquisition & Student Services, Parkview Health, to share more about this exciting initiative.

What are Parkview’s recruitment goals?

Our goal is to attract top talent to support Parkview Health in northeast Indiana/northwest Ohio to ensure we are providing excellent care to every person, every day.

How does the van support these goals?

This vehicle allows us to engage with talent on a more regular basis and to expand our geographic footprint in our recruiting efforts to ensure we are hiring the best talent to care for and support our patients.

How did you arrive at the design for the exterior of the van?

Our Talent Acquisition team worked with our talented Marketing team and their partner to create a design that aligns with the Parkview brand. The final design focuses on the mission (careers at Parkview) and the various methods jobseekers can use to apply to those jobs (online or by texting “parkviewjobs” to 97211).

What do you hope to achieve with this mobile team?

We hope to introduce Parkview Health to potential jobseekers within, as well as outside, of our geographic footprint and increase and strengthen our connection to and communication with jobseekers.

How will the mobile team connect with potential team members in our community and beyond?

The mobile team will go on campus visits and participate in job fairs, classroom visits, social events and host mock interview/resume writing sessions. They will also attend professional job fairs/events. The van and mobile team have a dedicated TextApply as well. Those who are interested can text “parkviewjobs” to 97211 to connect.

Where do you plan to take the van?

There is no limit to where we can go, but we plan to focus on college campuses and career events throughout Indiana, northwest Ohio and southern Michigan.

What can people expect if they visit the van?

A Parkview Talent Acquisition professional that can provide information about careers as well as information about working at Parkview. Those who visit will also have the opportunity to apply to jobs at Parkview and enjoy small giveaways.
