Proud to Bleed Green: Emma

Last Modified: January 06, 2022

People of Parkview

As a nurse in the Newborn Intensive Care Unit at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Emma Wyatt, RN, BSN, cares for premature or critically ill newborns. She attends deliveries in which the baby is at higher risk and then works with the NICU team to support the development of patients until they are ready to graduate from the NICU.

Emma is grateful for the opportunity to make a difference for these fragile patients and their families, and prides herself on helping them through such a difficult time by educating them on the equipment in the rooms and milestones they are working toward. This, she believes, can ease anxiety and provide encouragement.

Nursing

The NICU and Parkview have given Emma the chance to be part of something very special. She is proud to work for a health system where quality and integrity matter, and would trust the caregivers within the facility’s walls to take care of any of her loved ones. Parkview has proven to be an amazing place to work, grow and learn, and she would encourage others to apply and make a difference in the community.
