OnDemand

Months ago, we introduced Parkview OnDemand, our video appointment service, available 24/7. After an exceptionally active flu season and the typical rise in cold-weather respiratory illness, we’re seeing the full range of benefits for our patients.

Not only does this service allow you to access care from anywhere using our mobile app, it also keeps you from exposure to other illness. We’ve seen a 91 percent treatment rate, for conditions such as sinusitis, acute upper respiratory infection (URI), Pharyngitis, bronchitis, UTI, eye infection, ear infection, strep throat and other respiratory conditions. These patients were able to get the treatment they needed without braving unfavorable weather conditions, running the risk of exposure or waiting for an extended period of time.

Here is what some of our Parkview OnDemand patients are saying …

Alana W.

“It was a very positive experience. It was the day after Christmas in the evening and I just wasn’t feeling any better from the weekend and I really didn’t want to go anywhere so I thought I would try it. It was very simple to download the app and put my information in. The physician called me back within 10 minutes. It was very easy to pay with my credit card. I shared with him that I was diabetic so the medications that he needed to put me on I didn’t want them to interfere too much with my blood sugar levels. He was very nice, answered all my questions and spent the necessary time with me that I needed. I would highly recommend this to anyone who has a busy schedule!”

“I had an excellent experience with Parkview OnDemand! The provider was professional and I was able to get my Rx quickly and to my pharmacy of choice. The whole thing took 10 minutes, from waiting in the virtual lobby to talking with the provider. The best part is I didn’t even have to leave my bed! 10/10 would do again!”
