Gifting a sense of self for cancer patients

After a family friend went through a cancer battle nearly 15 years ago, Lisa Huffman, nurse leader, Parkview Ortho Hospital, started growing out her hair to donate. It’s a gift she has given four times now. Last year, her efforts became even more personal after Lisa lost her father and found out that her mother had a cancer diagnosis. She sees it as a small gesture that can make a big difference for others.
