What happens when over 100 local men decide to try their hand at whipping up gourmet eats and drinks for a crowd and a great cause? Cookin’ Men is what happens! Each year, volunteer chefs and attendees, along with annual sponsors, raise money at this Parkview Foundation fundraiser to support the health of women in northeast Indiana.

Hours upon hours are spent testing recipes to find the perfect one and create sample size portions for over 1,000 guests to enjoy throughout the evening. With 13 years of Cookin’ Men in the books, several chefs are honored each year as they reach the 10-year milestone. This year, five men join the 10-year Cookin’ Men Hall of Fame. Richard Ash, Doug Kline, Michael O’Keefe, Rob Patrick and Chris Sosebee have donated their time and their efforts to support local women for a decade. That’s a lot of sizzling and serving!

Michael was kind enough to share a sneak peak at what’s in store this year with his featured Cookin’ Men recipe for Stuffed Jalapeños.

To taste Michael’s appealing appetizer and any of the array of tempting treats and drinks planned for this year’s Cookin’ Men, gather a group, get your tickets and join the fun. VIP tickets sold out early, but General Admission tickets are still available for $65 before the night of the event. General admission access begins at 7 p.m. at the Grand Wayne Center.

Taste something you love? We have our chefs’ recipes available for sale in the annual Limited Edition 2017 Cookin’ Men Recipe Book so you can take your favorite dishes to go! All proceeds from this year’s event will benefit women’s breast health.

Check out all of our chefs and see who’s dishing out their best on April 22!
