We all have dreams. But not all of us write them down and actually chase them. Well, that’s exactly what 84-year-old Dona Miller has been doing for the last few years. She created a bucket list, including a rock concert (Adam Lambert, to be exact) and seeing a locomotive, among other adventures, and started documenting the stories of her life. To bring her final wish to fruition, Dona reached out to Parkview Health and asked for a peek inside our medical transport helicopter, Samaritan. On a sunny morning in late May, the crew escorted her up to the 8th floor of Parkview Regional Medical Center and out onto the helipad to mark off her very special request.
We feel honored to be a part of Dona’s devotion to pursuing joy and inspired to start jotting down our own dreams. Thank you for reminding us to seize each day.
