Parkview Cookin' Men
Cookin' Men 2018 was a smashing success due to another sold out crowd, an entertaining chef competition, an incredible silent auction and heartwarming laughter that could be heard throughout the Grand Wayne Convention Center Grand Hall. Through donor generosity, $184,000 was contributed through Cookin’ Men 2018 for women’s heart health! The gifts of healing and comfort our donors provided are making a difference for countless women in our community regardless of their access to insurance or ability to pay. Thank you for making it possible for us to continue the wonderful Cookin' Men tradition of food, fun and philanthropy year after year!
Please join us in 2019 as we celebrate 16 years of Cookin' Men tradition on Saturday, April 27. Because of earlier detection and improved treatment, death rates for women with breast cancer have steadily declined since 1990. As we all know, screening mammography can save lives. Breast cancer detected in its earliest stage increases the survival rate to 95 percent. Because of this, the Parkview Foundation is dedicating the 16th annual Cookin’ Men event to raise funds for Francine’s Friends mobile mammography program. Please join us as we support early detection, prevention, screening and management plans to fight breast cancer. Additionally, your support will focus on personalized approaches and improved care for those in need. In other words, we’re working to save lives and we need your support to make that happen.
