Diabetes Support Group

The Diabetes Support Group of Parkview Noble Hospital meets monthly at the Parkview Center for Healthy Living –The Community Learning Center. During each meeting, a topic is discussed and participants have the opportunity to ask questions, share ideas and more. The support groups are free and reservations are not needed.   • January 21 – Diabetes bingo with Terri Clark, RN, certified diabetes educator 
  • February 25 – Cholesterol and diabetes with Terri Clark, RN, certified diabetes educator
  • March 24 – What is a carb? Presented by a Parkview registered dietitian
  • April 28 – Hypoglycemia with Terri Clark, RN, certified diabetes educator 
  • May 26 – Diabetes and your eyes with Dr. Alan Roush
  • June 30 – Easy exercise with diabetes with Terri Clark, RN, certified diabetes educator 
  • July 28 – My plate and portion control with a Parkview registered dietitian
  • August 25 – Diabetes jeopardy game with Terri Clark, RN, certified diabetes educator 
  • September 29 – Mindful eating with a Parkview registered dietitian
  • October 27 – Grocery store tour with a Parkview registered dietitian
  • November 24 – Holiday party with Terri and a Parkview registered dietitian
  • No December meeting
