Pet-Friendly Class

Preparing you and your furry friend for the new arrival is essential. Join us to learn how you can help your pet cope with and adjust to the big change. You will also learn helpful pet training and home preparation tips that are designed for families who are expecting a baby. No pets allowed.

Offered on Saturdays from 9 to 10:30 a.m. in conference room C located on the Parkview Regional Medical Center campus.

Healing Hearts Support for Parents and Families

The grief and pain that comes from losing a baby at any stage is so very personal, yet other parents are experiencing this pain too. If you have experienced the loss of a baby through miscarriage, stillbirth or death after birth, this supportive group may help you in the healing process.

Parkview Chaplaincy has an experienced facilitator who can help you as you go through the grieving process. Sharing with other parents and families can help you make sense of this unbearable loss and hopefully lead you toward peace and healing.

This support group meets on the third Tuesday of the month.

Breastfeeding Support Group - Parkview Regional Medical Center (Tuesdays)

This group meets every Tuesday evening (7-8 pm) in the Family Birthing Center conference room, and Friday morning (9-10 am) at Entrance 4 in the third-floor conference room. Excluding holidays.

This is a drop-in group, no appointment needed (Mom and baby preferred). Lactation consultants are available to help with breast feeding needs, weight-based feeding assessment and pumping concerns.
