Food for Thought: Curb Your Cravings via Zoom

Do you have a difficult time controlling what you eat? Have you unsuccessfully tried a variety of diets, leaving you feeling like a failure, defeated, unmotivated or self-loathing? Then, you try again and the cycle repeats. Join Dave Johnson, PhD, Parkview Health, as he shares science-based models focused on habit-loops and mindfulness approaches that can assist you in making positive lifestyle changes. Class size is limited for this five-week session, which is open to adults only. A Zoom link will be sent to your email once you have registered.

Postpartum Support: A Better Tomorrow via Microsoft Teams

If you are experiencing postpartum depression, anxiety during pregnancy or depression in general, rest easy knowing support is here. Sarah Wolfe, BSN, RN, IBCLC, FCN, CPST, Parkview Whitley Hospital, and Alainna Martin, BSN, RN, Parkview Whitley Hospital, are trained by Postpartum Support International to help you get back to feeling like yourself again. Postpartum depression can last up to a year after the arrival or loss of your baby. Please know you are not alone, and you are not to blame. Lifestyle Medicine 101: Nutrition via Zoom

Need some inspiration to reboot your health? Kathy Wehrle, RDN, DipACLM and Lydia Hall, RDN, LD, community outreach dietitians, will share some valuable information about lifestyle medicine, the fastest growing subspecialty in medicine that can help you prevent, halt and reverse many chronic diseases. This Zoom engagement focuses on one of the most important pillars of lifestyle: nutrition. Kathy and Lydia will lead you through the evidence and guide you on practical ways to transition to a predominantly whole food plant-based eating style. This course consists of 30 minutes of transformative information with 15 minutes allotted for questions.
