Maternity & Parenting, Support Groups
Looking for a safe, supportive and nurturing environment where you can drop in to chat, learn or have questions answered about breastfeeding? Join Josie Smith, RN, IBCLC, ILCCE, lactation consultant, Parkview Whitley Hospital, for a helpful support group. The group meets on the first, second, third and fifth Wednesdays of each month.
Cost: Free
No registration required.
This group meets every Tuesday evening (7-8 pm) in the Family Birthing Center conference room, and Friday morning (9-10 am) at Entrance 4 in the third-floor conference room. Excluding holidays.
This is a drop-in group, no appointment needed (Mom and baby preferred). Lactation consultants are available to help with breast feeding needs, weight-based feeding assessment and pumping concerns.

Parkview Regional Medical Center
Mom’s Group is a support group where moms can go to have their baby weighed, have questions answered by a Parkview lactation consultant and RN, and interact with other moms. Mom’s Group also features crafts for moms to do with their children.
