Parkview Foundation Golf Classic

The generosity of Parkview donors will prominently be on display at the Fort Wayne Country Club during Parkview Foundation’s 24th Annual Golf Classic. Proceeds from this year’s Golf Classic will be directed to the Parkview Cancer Institute’s Transformative Cancer Care Fund.

Parkview recognizes that to create the best possible outcomes for its patients and their families, it must serve all aspects of the cancer care journey. Many of those aspects like nutritional support, transportation, financial counseling, social work, emotional support, and care coordination remain unmet, not covered by insurance, or perhaps not even recognized. These are the highly important personal elements of cancer care that must adequately be addressed to reach the next level of total health.

The Transformative Cancer Care Fund was not created to pay for buildings, physician practice items, salaries, or routine clinical care. The funds raised in support of this endowment provide direct assistance for patients who are not covered by insurance and cannot pay for these services. When golfers in the Annual Golf Classic support the Transformative Cancer Care Fund, they are giving directly to patients and their loved ones and thereby enabling them to close the gap in coverage—a gap that can leave patients and family members at a great loss despite otherwise positive aspects of disease treatment.

Parkview believes in serving patients in every way, every day, which is precisely why the Transformative Cancer Care Fund was created. Schedule of Events:

• 7:30 a.m. - Morning flight registration, Breakfast, Practice green and range open, Nike tent open

• 8:30 a.m. - Morning flight shotgun start

• 11:30 a.m. - Afternoon flight registration, lunch, and morning flight awards

• 2:00 p.m. - Afternoon shotgun start

• 6:00 p.m. - Snacks and cocktails, afternoon flight Awards

 

Lexus Champions for Charity Raffle

$75 enters you for the chance to play in the Lexus Champions For Charity December 5-9, 2018. This is a two person, better-ball tournament featuring play at Pebble Beach, Spy Glass Hill and Spanish Bay.
