Preparing for Childbirth

Preparation is the key to having a confident, personally satisfying birthing experience. To help you prepare for this life-changing event, Parkview offers a prenatal education class designed to assist you and your partner in exploring the physical, emotional and social aspects of birth. Partners are encouraged to attend.
To help you prepare for childbirth, this class covers the following:
- Process of labor and birth
- Relaxation and breathing techniques
- Pain management options
- Physical and emotional changes
Three-session course offered consecutive weeks on Mondays from 6 to 8:30 p.m. in Wooten A and B conference rooms located in the lower level of Parkview Regional Medical Center.
