Our certified lactation staff are available to give support, answer questions and encourage new moms who are breastfeeding.
This class is designed to help you feel more confident by teaching you basic parenting skills and more. Content includes soothing newborns, normal baby care and current safety standards.
Basic & Beyond Parenting classes are held during the week from 4 – 9 p.m. or Saturdays from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. in the Parkview Regional Medical Center conference rooms.

Having a breastfeeding plan is the key to success. Studies show that breastfeeding offers numerous health benefits
for you and your baby. Taught by a certified lactation consultant, this class is highly recommended if
you are considering breastfeeding your baby. Partners are encouraged to attend. Topics covered include:
Monday classes are held from 7 – 8 p.m., and Saturday classes are held from 10 – 11 a.m. at Parkview Regional Medical Center conference rooms.
