Lisa Bergeron, MD, PPG – Pediatric Developmental Care, walks us through a new offering that delivers specialized services for local children.

At the Parkview Pediatric Developmental Center, we are focused on providing specialized care to help achieve your child’s greatest potential. Our team is passionate about helping children and families understand and manage developmental delays, including autism. At the Pediatric Developmental Center, we are able to diagnose issues in life, from birth on, so that treatment can begin as soon as possible.

Specialized services at the Parkview Pediatric Developmental Center include:

  • Occupational and speech therapy
  • Mental health counseling
  • Child psychology services
  • Floortime therapy
  • Additional testing
  • A neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) follow-up clinic

Autism

At the Parkview Pediatric Developmental Center, we take a team approach. Our pediatric developmental physician, child psychologist, speech and occupational therapists, mental health therapist and nurse practitioners work together to evaluate and diagnose autism and other developmental delays as early as possible. We believe that with early intervention and family-centered care, we can develop positive experiences that are essential prerequisites for later success, in school, the workplace and the community.

To make an appointment or learn more about the center, call 260-266-5400. Some patients may need a referral from their pediatrician.
