Talk to a Provider

With Parkview MyChart, you can talk to a Parkview provider from your smart phone, tablet, or computer - receiving the same level of care as an in-person visit at a walk-in clinic. Our providers are available to treat and diagnose non-emergency medical issues, and if prescriptions are necessary, they can be sent right to your pharmacy of choice.

Common conditions treated by the Talk to a Provider service include:

  • Cold, cough, flu
  • Allergies
  • Pink eye
  • Sore throat
  • Respiratory issues
  • Sinus problems
  • Skin problems
  • And more!

This service is available seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and open to anyone in Indiana or Ohio, even if you don’t have a Parkview provider.

Insurance is now accepted for MyChart video visits.

Talk to a Provider video visits are not available for patients age 14-17. Available care options for this age group include Parkview OnDemand and scheduled video visits with Parkview provider.

Talk to a Provider video visits are not for use in emergencies or if you are experiencing: chest pain, severe shortness of breath, fainting or feeling faint, severe pain, broken bones, or injuries that need to have an x-ray or image taken.

If you are experiencing these symptoms or other signs of a medical emergency, please call 911.

How to begin a video visit

  1. In the MyChart app, choose Talk to a Provider.
  2. Confirm your location and select a reason for your visit.
  3. Choose your device type and proceed by selecting Put Me In Line.
  4. While you wait for the next available provider, feel free to go about your day.  MyChart will send you an alert or push message via your notification preference when a provider becomes available. Simply log back into your MyChart account, select Talk to a Provider and click Begin Video Visit.
