Parkview Perinatal Center Data Review

About

Parkview is dedicated to providing personalized care for pregnant mothers in the northeast Indiana Region. The comprehensive services offered cover the entire spectrum of pregnancy, from early prenatal care to infant delivery and postpartum support. Acknowledging the significance of Postpartum Hemorrhage (PPH) as a common complication of childbirth, Parkview Perinatal Center is initiating a retrospective data review to assess rates of PPH. The objective is to identify patterns, devise implementation strategies, and ultimately decrease the incidence of postpartum hemorrhage. The Health Services and Informatics Research (HSIR) team will perform a retrospective chart review using data sourced from Parkview Regional Medical Center (PRMC) and Randallia. The outcomes of this data-driven approach aim to inform strategies that will contribute to improved patient outcomes and set benchmarks for best practices within the institution.

Postpartum Hemorrhage (PPH) was considered as quantitated blood loss exceeding 1000 mL. Analyses are in progress.
