About Clinical Research

Advancing the future of healthcare

physician researching

The Parkview Research Center is uniquely situated to participate in collaborative research efforts with local and national academic partners. One of our oldest collaborations is with the Indiana University School of Medicine. The Student Education and Research Fellowship (SERF) program (formerly the Midwest Alliance for Health Education) was established more than 30 years ago and continues to serve the surrounding region. Within this fellowship program, students are in-residence for a period of nine weeks, learning about research and interacting with Parkview physicians on ongoing research studies. Students gain basic skills for the conduct of research and disseminate their work through a poster or podium presentations at the end of the program.
