Womens Health Advantage

Women's Health Advantage

Fort Wayne, IN

Women’s Health Advantage is a large, private OB/GYN practice, whose physicians deliver at both Parkview Health and Lutheran Health Network hospitals. The PGY-4 rotation is meant to give the resident physician a look at another style of practice, concentrating on office medicine, and working with the front office staff to learn the business side of medicine. Resident physicians will learn about patient flow, utilizing ancillary staff, rooming patients, contracts, reading a financial spreadsheet, staffing, training of new personnel and other topics. This is a required rotation but can be completed at an alternate location if approved by the program leadership.
