Medical professionals: refer your patient to the Vascular Clinic

The Vascular Clinic at Parkview Heart institute provides coordinated care for patients with vascular disease, beginning with an evaluation with an interventional cardiologist. At a bi-monthly case review, results of the evaluation are discussed with the clinic team, including a cardiovascular surgeon, in order to identify the best treatment. Patient education includes diet, physical activity and smoking cessation. When vascular disease is moderate to severe, the clinic team will often recommend medication to manage symptoms or a surgical procedure to improve circulation.
