Jessi Gerke, a recent graduate of Eastside Jr./Sr. High School, has signed on to play volleyball and compete in track & field at Huntington University.
Gerke made her plans official during a ceremony June 8, when she signed her letter of intent.
Gerke is a defensive specialist on volleyball court, and a pole vaulter in track and field.
She is a nominee for a Parkview Sports Medicine Dr. James E. Albright Excellence Scholarship, which will be awarded in July.
