As Max Maile, senior vice president, Digital Health, Parkview Health, explained, our health system is dedicated to innovation and focusing on all the ways our patients can access the medical expertise they need, with the convenience they want.
Virtual care allows Parkview providers to give the right care at the right time, whether that means virtual specialty consults at our community hospitals, or a video visit for an emergent issue that pops up while you’re away from home. Digital care promotes the customization of care delivery needs for every scenario, so our patients don’t have to worry.
Digital health also makes more possible for patients in the communities we serve. One example of this, is our recent connection with our pediatric care partner, Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. By offering outpatient telemedicine clinics as well as video conferences with specialists at this facility, Parkview is able to bring care from the No. 1 children’s hospital in the country to our region.
Connected every step of the way
For Parkview patients, digital health isn’t just about one part of the care journey. It’s about offering support every step of the way.
Before a visit
If you engage in our patient portal, MyChart, you can search symptoms and providers, schedule appointments and get on the wait list so that you’re in line to be seen as soon as possible.
During a visit
MyChart video visits connect you to your providers from the comfort and convenience of home.
During a hospital stay
We have inpatient MyChart options, which allow patients lab results, connect with providers and more, in real time, with a tablet.
After a visit
Following an appointment with your provider, you can review lab results and provider notes, ask questions and more though MyChart.
Our goal is to redefine traditional healthcare and provide the best options for our patients. You can learn more about all of our Virtual Health offerings by visiting us here.
