Parkview has transitioned select laboratory services to Labcorp. Patients are encouraged to schedule an appointment in advance or call their preferred Labcorp location prior to visiting to inquire about current wait times. Book an appointment with Labcorp.

We are experiencing local inbound calling issues at our Bryan and Montpelier hospitals. This issue has been reported to Frontier, and their support teams are actively working on a resolution. While repairs are ongoing, please contact Parkview Bryan Hospital at (419) 446-3007 and Parkview Montpelier Hospital at (419) 446-3008.

Retired nurses find a new role

Last Modified: May 11, 2021

People of Parkview

With the goal of identifying opportunities to extend the work-life of the aging nurse, Parkview implemented the Emeritus Nurse Program in 2017. The imitative enables mentoring relationship and the continued passage of knowledge from one generations of nurse to the next.

The Emeritus Nurse is a recently retired nurse who desires to continue working in a modified nursing role with a flexible schedule. These team members played a crucial role during Parkview’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

We sat down with Emeritus nurses, Cindy Newhouse, RN, and Bob Pequignot, RN, to hear more about how they became involved in the program and what it’s meant for them to be able to give back during this health crisis.
