Sara Dill, CPSP, behavioral health specialist, inpatient adult services, Parkview Behavioral Health Institute, shares important resources for mental healthcare.

Stigma surrounding mental health can be a significant barrier to seeking help. Many individuals feel ashamed or fear judgment, preventing them from accessing the resources they need.

Are you or someone you know experiencing a mental health crisis?

Help is available right here in your community.

Immediate assistance is available at the Parkview Behavioral Health Institute helpline. This team answers crisis calls 24/7 and can provide resources and guidance whenever needed by calling 260-471-9440.

Another option is a Suicide Crisis Lifeline. Call or text 988 to connect with a trained crisis specialist 24/7 for support with thoughts of suicide, substance use crises or mental health emergencies.

If your crisis cannot be resolved over the phone, the Parkview Behavioral Health Institute's SOS Mobile intervention Team can provide community-based intervention wherever you are, including the Emergency Room.
