South Side High School senior Ashton Johnson will continue his college basketball career at the University of Saint Francis.
Ashton put pen to paper during a ceremony on Tuesday at the school. He becomes the latest Fort Wayne product to join the Cougars.
As a senior, Ashton averaged 16.2 points, 5.6 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game. He earned 1st team All-Summit Athletic Conference honors as a senior, and 2nd team All-SAC honors as junior. For his career, he scored 1,010 points on 42 percent field goal shooting.
He is interested in studying sports management and marketing.
