Fort Wayne native Rod Woodson is one of four former NFL greats selected as Legends Captains for the Pro Bowl.

Woodson will be the defensive captain for the American Football Conference in the annual All-Star game, which will be held February 6 in Las Vegas.

Woodson, who played high school football at Snider and college football at Purdue before a 17-year NFL career, is an 11-time Pro Bowl selection. Woodson is third in league history in interceptions (71) and first for interception returns for touchdowns (12). He earned All-Pro honors 5 times, won a Super Bowl with the Ravens in 2001 and was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2009.

This past summer, Woodson partnered with Parkview Sports Medicine for his HOPE Through Football Camp at Snider.
