Edon High School quarterback's prolific senior campaign earned him top offensive honors for the State of Ohio.
Drew was named Division VII Offensive Player of the Year by the Ohio Prep Sportswriters Association. Gallehue completed 325-of-474 pass atttempts for 4,977 yards (6th most in a season in state history) and 58 passing touchdowns (10th most in state history).
For his career, Drew threw for 11,262 pass yards (5th most in state history) and 142 passing touchdowns (4th most in state history).
With his selection as D-VII Offensive Player of the Year, Drew earns D-VII All-Ohio honors. He was also named 1st Team All-Toledo Area Athletic Conference.
Edon finished 11-2, winning their first TAAC championship and advancing to the Region 26 semi-finals for the first time.
Drew's on-field exploits have garnered him scholarship offers to a handful of NAIA schools in recent months.
