Blackhawk Christian's Marc Davidson named Indiana Coach of the Year

Blachawk Christian boys basketball coach Marc Davidson has been honored as Indiana Coach of the Year.

The award was presented by the Indianapolis Star as part of the Indiana High School Sports Awards on July 16. He was one of three nominated coaches from all sports and teams in the Hoosier State. The announcement was made in a video by Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Urban Meyer.

Davidson coached Blackhawk Christian to the 2A boys basketball state championship in March - the Braves' second state title in three seasons. The Braves finished 28-3 in 2020-21 and were the top-ranked team in 2A for most of the season.
