Snider senior football players Reece Thomas and Ison Robinson will continue their football careers at the collegiate level.
The pair of Panther defensive standouts held a signing ceremony February 3 at the school. Reece signed with the NAIA powerhouse, the University of Saint Francis; while Ison signed with Missouri Western State University, an NCAA Division II program in St. Joseph, Missouri.
Reece was second-team All-Summit Athletic Conference at defensive end. He tallied 30 tackles (25 solo, 5 assisted, 9 for loss), 6 sacks and 1 fumble recovery for the Panthers. He was also selected Academic All-State with a 3.9 grade point average. He'll study finance.
Ison earned 1st team All-SAC honors at defensive lineman. He recored 28 tackles (26 solo, 2 assisted, 7 for loss), 4 sacks and 1 interception. He plans to study business management.
