Blackhawk Christian forward Caleb Furst started his senior season with another milestone, becoming the school's all-time leading scorer.

Furst poured in 24 points on December 1, 2020, as the Braves handled North Side, 98-48, at home. Furst sits at 1,447 career points, through December 1. He surpassed previous record holder and former teammate Frankie Davidson (1,443) for first place and Russell Byrd (1,430) during the course of the game.

 

Furst, a Purdue recruit and Mr. Basketball candidate, averages 20.3 points per game for his career, according to MaxPreps. Nationally, Furst is ranked 30th by ESPN, 34th by 24/7 Sports and 38th by Rivals among recruits in the Class of 2021. He has helped Blackhawk Christian to three sectional titles, two regional titles, a semi-state title and the 2019 1A state championship.
