Blackhawk Christian boys basketball coach Marc Davidson has been honored as Bob King District 1 Coach of the Year.
The honor was announced March 24 by the Indiana Basketball Coaches Association. In all, Davidson is one of six girls coaches statewide recognized.
Davidson led the Braves (23-3) to their 7th sectional championship in 8 years. Blackhawk Christian was poised for a deep run in the postseason before the tournament was canceled heading into regionals. The Braves won the 1A state championship in 2019.
