Leo has even more to celebrate coming out of Saturday, March 7's sectional championship victory.
Senior guard Blake Davidson scored his 1,000th career point in the Lions' 51-47 win over Concordia in the 3A Garrett Sectional 22 title game.
With just under 3 minutes left in the game, Davidson blew by the Concordia defender to score on a layup. The bucket put Leo up by 4, and the Lions were able to hold on from there.
