Huntington's Fryman named Crossroads League Women's Basketball Player of the Year

March 5, 2020

Huntington forward Sarah Fryman has been named the Crossroads League Women's Basketball Player of the Year.

Fryman, a senior from Huntington, was awarded the honor by the coaches in the conference, which goes along with her preseason CL Player of the Year recognition.

Fryman was second in all of NAIA in scoring, averaging 23.1 points per game. She was the team leader in rebounds at 7.4 per game. She ranked second nationally in free throw percentage (91.7), as well. Her performance made her an 1st team All-Conference selection in back-to-back seasons.

Huntington finished 21-11.

Fryman is the third Huntington player ever to win Crossroads League Player of the Year, joining Miranda Palmer in 2017 and Amy Bechtel in 1999.
