Prairie Height's German heading to Parkland College for basketball

Prairie Heights senior Lex German will continue her basketball career at Parkland College.

German, a guard, signed her letter of intent with the women's basketball program on March 4 at the school. She was flanked by family, coaches and teammates as she made her committment official.

German averaged 10.2 points, 3.0 rebounds and 1.9 steals per game during her senior season at Prairie Heights. She was named 1st team All-Northeast Corner Conference in back-to-back seasons.

She hit the 1,000 career points milestone on January 10.
