
Snider High School senior Hayden Tippmann is one of 24 student-athletes honored by the Indiana Football Coaches Association with the organization's annual Salutatorian Awards.
The award recognizes saluatorian football athletes who make the IFCA Academic All-State teams, and focuses on achievement in the classroom. Hayden has earned a 4.63 grade point average en route to ranking 2nd in the Snider senior class. He is the son of Snider football coach Kurt Tippmann.
Hayden played free safety for a Panther defense that allowed just 17.2 points per game this past season, including 3 shutouts. Snider finished 7-3.
Hayden was also an accomplished wrestler at Snider, advancing to semi-state after a fourth-place finish in the 132-lb. regional. Snider won the Summit Athletic Conference and sectional championships as a team.
