3 Snider signees make college plans official

Three Snider Panthers put pen to paper, making official their college athletic plans next year.

Seniors Nick Pelzey, Cameron Miller and Marqueisha Weeks held a signing ceremony February 18 at the school.

 

Pezley will play football at Olivet College, an NCAA Division III school in Olivet, Michigan. A linebacker, Pezley was honorable mention All-Summit Athletic Conference the last two seasons. He also earned Academic All-State  honors.

 

Miller will continue his baseball career at Franklin College, an NCAA Division III south of Indianapolis. Miller batted .184 as a junior. Miller also played football, earning honorable mention All-SAC.

 

Marqueisha Weeks has signed with the women’s track and field program at Florida International University, an NCAA Division I program in Miami. Weeks was sectional runner-up and 3rd in the SAC in the shotput as a junior. She will do shotput, discuss and hammer at FIU.
