FORT WAYNE, Ind. - Blackhawk Christian senior Kennedy Kintz will continue her volleyball career in college after signing with Bethel.
Kintz, a setter and libero, signed her letter of intent to join the NAIA school during a ceremony Wednesday at the school. Bethel College will become Bethel University on May 6. The Pilots play in the Crossroads League.
As a senior, Kintz tallied 62 kills, 77 assists, 274 digs and 15 blocks. The Lady Braves won the 1A state championship when Kintz was a junior. She plays club volleyball at Empowered Volleyball Academy.
She plans to study special education.
Blackhawk Christian is one of 25 high schools that partners with Parkview Sports Medicine for athletic training, nutrition, athletic rehabilitation and orthopedic services for Braves student-athletes.
