Concordia's Evans signs with Southern Indiana volleyball

Concordia Lutheran High School senior Julia Evans will continue her college volleyball career after signing with the University of Southern Indiana.

Evans, a defensive specialist, signed with the Screaming Eagles during a ceremony on November 15 in Concordia's Worship Conference Center. USI is an NCAA Division II school in Evansville. Evans earned 1st team All-Summit Athletic Conference honors the last 2 years. She tallied 335 digs and 70 aces this past season.  While at Concordia, the Cadets won an SAC, a sectional and a regional title. She played club volleyball for Summit Volleyball Club in Fort Wayne.

Evans plans to study communications.

Concordia is one of 26 high schools that partners with Parkview Sports Medicine for athletic training, nutrition, sports performance training, athletic rehabilitation and other sports medicine services.
