Leo High School volleyball standout Brooke Smith has been named honorable mention Under Armour All-American by the American Volleyball Coaches Association.

Smith is one of 150 girls high school volleyball players named to the prestigious list split into a 1st, 2nd, 3rd and Honorable Mention teams. She is one of 6 players from Indiana named on one of the four lists.

In 88 sets played her senior season, the 6’1” outside hitter tallied 449 kills, 222 digs, 51 aces, 32 blocks. She earned All-Northeast 8 Conference and 3A All-State honors, and led the Lady Lions to their third-straight NE8 championship. In the classroom, she also earned Academic All-State honors.

She plays club volleyball for Empowered Volleyball Academy, and was part of the Elite 18U Red team that finished 2nd in the 18s division at the USA Volleyball Junior Nationals last spring.
