Lakeland returns 6 of 8 players from a team 15-9 team that advanced to the sectional semi-finals a year ago. A goal has been set of achieving the school record for wins in a season, with hopes of the Lady Lakers taking the next step. Entering Year 5, head coach Dan Huzienga feels good about the direction of the program, citing development at the middle school levels that could also pay dividends in the years to come.
