Lakeland pitcher Frost signs with KVCC

February 18, 2019

LAGRANGE, Ind. - Lakeland High School senior Hunter Frost will play baseball in college after this season is over.

Frost signed with Kalamazoo Valley Community College, a National Junior College Athletic Association School in Kalamazoo, Mich.

Frost is a pitcher for Lakeland, but says he is willing to play anywhere. As a junior, he was 8-2 on the mound and had a .296 average from the plate. The Lakers were Northeast Corner Conference co-champs and NECC tourney runners-up. Individually, Frost earned All-Conference honors.

He is undecided on a major, but his career interests include becoming an athletic director or financial advisor.

Lakeland is one of 26 local high schools that partners with Parkview Sports Medicine for athletic training, nutrition, athletic rehabilitation and orthopedic services for Laker athletes.
